Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies the Testnik presentation website at testnik.irnas.eu uses, and why. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. On a later visit the browser sends it back, which lets the site recognise your session or remember a preference. Similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage, work in comparable ways.
2. Our position
This website uses only cookies that are strictly necessary for it to function. There is no advertising, no profiling, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party analytics. No data from this website is shared with advertising networks or social platforms.
Because these cookies are strictly necessary to deliver a service you have requested, they are exempt from the consent requirement under Art. 225 of the Slovenian Electronic Communications Act (ZEKom-2), implementing Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC. The notice you see on your first visit is therefore an information notice, not a consent gate.
3. What we set
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| testnik_sess | Cookie | Maintains your session — required for the contact form's security token and for the administration area | Until the browser is closed |
| testnik_lang | Cookie | Remembers whether you chose English or Slovenian | 12 months |
| testnik-theme | Local storage | Remembers your choice of the dark or light appearance | Until you clear your browser data |
| testnik-cookie-ack | Local storage | Remembers that you have seen this notice, so it is not shown again | Until you clear your browser data |
The session cookie is marked HttpOnly, Secure and SameSite=Lax, so it cannot be read by scripts and is not sent with cross-site requests.
4. What we do not set
- No advertising or retargeting cookies.
- No analytics cookies — we do not run Google Analytics or any comparable third-party measurement.
- No social media pixels or share-button trackers.
- No fonts, scripts or stylesheets loaded from third-party servers, so no third party receives your IP address by virtue of your visit.
5. Controlling cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Because the cookies we use are strictly necessary, blocking them will prevent the contact form from working and will make the administration area inaccessible; the rest of the site will continue to display normally.
Guidance is available for Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Edge.
6. The Testnik Cloud dashboard
The dashboard at testnik-cloud.eu is a separate application with its own cookie policy.
7. Changes
If we ever introduce a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this page and ask for your consent before setting it.
